What I Heard 2011-01-21
Two from from the week. See you again friday.
Two from from the week. See you again friday.
Located on the corner of 8th Street and Marquette Ave in downtown Minneapolis and in the shadow of the IDS Center, sits a quaint little bar and grill. It’s nothing much to look at the outside, particularly in the winter, and in the summer it’s appearance is over run by the busy and ruckus on sidewalk patio with music being piped in from the bar. This apparently unmentionable bar is anything but.
So as most of you may have noticed I don’t seem to blog as much. Those of you who are still visiting here from time to time to see if I’m dead or not, may have noticed.
Well, I have evolved my online communications. I’m on twitter now, which I don’t think I’d ever do and you’ll notice that has a feed off to the right of the site now. I’m going to reserve my blog post for more of a “commentary” roll with my day to day stuff is going to go through twitter and facebook. Let’s be honest, it’s easier that way.
So there it is. As I have time or topics to actually blog about, you’ll see them, otherwise check me out on twitter or facebook.
My good friend and I get a daily coffee at the DBC in our building. Today was a particularly momentous coffee acquisition. Ladies and gentlemen it’s official, I have completed my first upgrade of WordPress since its initial install so many moons ago.
Aside from a couple of hiccups (one being my own dang fault), it went very smoothly.
You should notice a new piece of functionality here. You will now be able to reply to someone’s comment and it will tree the conversation… woot.
So there’s that excitement…
Hope you’re all surviving the heat.
